ETIAS

ETIAS "is an entry requirement for visa-exempt nationals travelling to any of these 30 European countries", per the Commission's ETIAS site; it costs EUR 20 and is valid for up to three years or until the passport expires. Because Indian nationals require a visa, ETIAS does not apply to them. As of this page's date the site states ETIAS is "currently not in operation" and that the start date will be announced several months in advance. If you also hold a visa-exempt nationality, ETIAS will apply when you travel on that passport once it launches.
