If you are refused

The mission's page says to follow the instructions in the refusal letter. Deadline: no later than 8 weeks after receipt of the refusal decision (Danish Immigration Service; the mission's page states no deadline).

Representation

Conflict to know about: the Danish embassy FAQ still says visas 'to travel to Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, and Faroe Islands' can be lodged at VFS, while Iceland's own portal (island.is, read 2026-08-18) routes every Indian VFS city to the Icelandic Embassy in New Delhi and VFS runs a separate Iceland-in-India page. Treat Iceland as deciding its own visas in India and the Danish sentence as outdated. Denmark represents Sweden only in Bhutan.
